Friday June 7th - Lake George, NY to Bowmanville, Ontario – 410 miles

I had originally planned to ride north from Lake George across the Adirondacks to the border, but as it was raining in Lake George, heavy at times, I decided to ride the Interstates. It rained  for the first 3 hours or so, until nearing Syracuse on I90, where the roads dried out, and it was pleasant heading north on I81 to the Canadian border. It was then a run down the 401 to Bowmanville, with intermittent misty rain. Overall a wet day, one might say a blue dye hand day from soaking leather gloves. After all the years of suffering this, I will get a decent pair of waterproof gloves, not leather.
